Pastor Anderson spent some time in the military (USAF) after high school, then went on to study at Maranatha Baptist Bible College (now University), Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and Central Baptist Seminary (Minneapolis). He holds the B.A., M.A.B.S., M.Div., and D.Min. degrees. He is married with two young children.
